WINCHESTER Model 64 30 WCF
I have an old win model 64 serial#1,1**,*** made in 1941 I think and a new unfired model 64A made in 72-73 I think. The older gun has WCF30 on the barrel and a metal butt plate. The newer model 30-30 has a built in sling mount on the forearm guard. I see a very few on Gun Broker for sale occasionly but not to often. What is a rough value of these guns without wear or other factors.Just ballpark or opinion would be appreciated. Thanks,BS[?]

You need to give more info especially on the 1941 - 64. Pictures on the 1941 would be essential since a messed with older Winchester is usually just a shoooter. On the 64A I can tell you that if it is truly unfired with the box its a $600 dollar gun maybe a little more .without the box and in great condition its really just a post 64 94 so about $350 - $450 I have a nice 64A and really like it with peep sights but it was not a sought after model so was just made for the 2 years. The pre 64 64 , on the other hand is really a beautiful rifle. 0 -
Pre 64 Model 64's are beautiful classic deer rifles. If you have an honest gun (totally original with no alterations) with a good bore, and in decent condition I would say around $600 minumum. If it's a Deluxe(checkered)...maybe $700 minimum...assuming no rust or pitting on either of them. Beyond that...condition could drive the values much higher. 0 -

As for the value question, there were several variations of the Model 64 made, each one of which has a different set of value ranges. I need to know which one you have (e.g. Sporting Rifle, Deer Rifle, Carbine, Deluxe Carbine).
I never see a decent condition Model 64 for $600... they typically sell for much more.0
