20 Gauge lever action shotgun
Hi , I recently bought some items from an estate sale and purchased an old 20 gauge lever action , falling block single shot rifle.There are no marks on it anywhere.Where the barrel meets the breach it is octangular then as it goes forward there are 2 smaller machined rings right after the octagon , then the barrel goes to the tapered end. The breach is lever action with a hammer , the action is a falling block , single shot design.It is in usable condition but stock and grip is worn.I have looked every where and have not found anything like it. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated Thanks , Dave

Take a look at the thread on posting photos on this board and give us some good clear photos of the shotgun with emphasis on the action. someone will be able to point you right. 0 -
If it looks like this it's a Hopkins & Allen, or the predissor company, Bay State Arms. Made as both rifle and shotguns, from the late 19th Century, until the early 1900's.
