vintage complete bullets with clip german 1938
Are these bullets worth listing on gun broker? the bullets are brass it is marked in roman numbers viii then 1938, then the eagle holding the swastika I have two clips of 5. I have no idea the maker. These belonged to a family member who fought in wwII any help would be appreciated thanks

They have much more value as a family heirloom than they do as a sale item. IOW count yourself lucky if you get $2ea for them.

That was taken at a cartridge collectors show, that seller alone had 3 tubs that size, and IIRC I saw some 40+ more just like it. All those dealers obviously didn't feel it was worth their time or trouble to bother sorting them out. Not that I was complaining, as I snagged a bunch of full Garand clips out of that tub [:D]0 -

Sounds like 8X56R Austrian manufacture under Nazi occupation. If picked up in the war, worth more as a souvenir. Otherwise worth about $1-2 each on clips- no more than $10 total I'd say. Not worth the shipping for a collector for just 2, though you might sell the clips themselves (they can be sent US mail while the ammo would have to go UPS)- they are for the M-95 Steyr rifle. 0
