Value needed on rare model colt

I was told I have a rare colt 1991a1 series 80 stainless 45acp book value of about 1200

this is exactly what it looks like serial number begins with CV it has rubber grips just like this one sorry i dont know how to upload pics on this forum yet

  I wouldn't consider it "rare"
  the 1991A1 was introduced in 1992 as a "modern" 1911.
  they came with black composite grips and were available in standard 5" barrel as well as commander and officers legnths.
  I would guess $900 to $1100 for LNIB/NIB in todays market.

  I saw one at the last gun show I was at for $850 NIB.Nothing rare about it that I know of
