Colt Python/Trooper

I am going to reblue a Colt Trooper and need to remove the barrel. Maryland Gun Works offer an insert for there barrel wrench to fit "Colt Python & Officer' Mod.t" as listed in brownells. I called Brownells and there tec person did not know. Has anybody modified MGW insert to the Trooper or does it fit? I know MGW offers a blank insert. "Inquiring minds want to know" thanks celse

    Python and troopers do use the same insert.
