Carl Zeiss 6x42 Scope

I have a Carl Zeiss 6x42 scope that I purchased in 1982 in West Germany. I also have the original box. The scope tube is painted black or powder coated. The adjustment turrets are both on the top inline with one another. The scope has a bottom rail for claw type mounting. The tube diameter is 30mm, maybe a little more. The reticle consists of a straight post pointed on the top with two horizontal straight posts one on each side. I am pretty sure that this was manufactured in East Germany at the time. I would be happy to email some pictures if anyone is an expert on this. I am just trying to see what value it has if any. Thanks.

  The only reference book I have is Old Rifle Scopes by Stroebel. It does not list your scope. The closest thing to it is a Diatal 6X32 with a 1" tube. The value for it is $275 - 375. Good luck.
