Remington 673 .243 Guide Rifle

I recently purchased a 673 guide rifle in the .243 caliber and have not beena able to find out any info on it as far as how many were made and or any history. All feed back will be greatly appreciated! Thank You! [8D]

  Your first call should be to 1-800-243-9700 I think it is .. Remington will probably be the only one with that info..

  I have such a rifle but I have never seen it listed in any catalog or website.

  I have read that either 500 or 750 were made for a loyal distributor for remington.....can I ask what you had to pay for it? I have two and might be looking to sell in order to pick up a BT-100...The last one I saw for sale went for a little over 1000.00

  There are a few listed on the auction side in every chambering but 243. This had to be an exclusive for one of their big distributors. The ones on the auction side are listed from $579.00 to $1000.00.

  Remington discontinued production about two years ago they were made for about five years and were cataloged .243, 350 remington mag, .308 and one other caliper

  The other caliber (caliper?) is the one I have--6.5 Rem. Mag.

  never were cataloged as a 243....6.5 350 308 and 300 saum
