Star B 9mm exchange with 1911 9mm?

I wonder if I could fit a Star B 9mm with a 1911 9mm barrel?

I have the Star B, and my experience so far is that it is a 'copy' only in the broadest sense of the word. Kind of like those movies "based on a true story". You could always find someone with a 9mm barrel and see if it fits, but I put my money on 'not'.

the colt uses a 'link' to cam the barrel ouit of battery while the star uses a 'ramp'. two different cats altogether.
