Saiga semi-auto shotguns?

Opinions please. I have had no experience with this particular manufacturer.

There are a couple different models listed in the auction pages, in particular a 12 RAA for 600.00 and a 12 IZ-109 for 565.00.

Quality, price what do you think?

Your advice is appreciated.

    Made at the Russian plant that produces the AK 47 and 74 rifle variants. These are excellent guns for slug hunters and can be worked into a very very nice tactical shotgun with some mods and accessories.

    I appreciate your prompt response.

    My plan is using this gun for hog hunting with some 00buck loads, and/or slugs. It looks to be just the ticket.

    By the by, we love "Big Al" . Noticed you reside in Boone. Wife and I have been to Ledges many times. It is a great park. Also have a sister in Ames.

    Boone is a nice place........much better than Fort Dodge where I lived before. It has earned the nickname Little Chicago.

    Centerfire Systems has the 109 for 550 and the other is 560 and they both come with a 10 round clip.

    That is very good info. !0 round clip, hope my shoulder will hold up to it.

    Saigas use magazines, not clips. They ship with 5 round magazines, not 10.
