How to ID Springfield Arms dbl bbl model

I have no barrels.No original wood. Frame says:
Springfield Arms
ChicopeeFalls.Mass.USA
Serial#1514XX
Don't mind tearing it down futher if needed. Anyone know how to determine the model? It is (was) a 16 gauge. Thanks for looking.

    The forearm iron has the same serial # but also has a " T " stamped ahead of the forward screw. Any help?

    "Springfield Arms" was a Trade Name used by Savage on some of their utility grade shotguns. The Chicopee Falls address dates the production to prior then the late 50's, when Savage moved to Westfield MA.

    Best thing to do is to go to the Gun Parts Corp. on-line catalog, they have extensive sections devoted to various Savage and Stevens shotguns. This includes some schematics. You might luck out and be able to figure out, which model you have that way.
