1912 Luger

Does anybody know what unit this was assigned to ? It says 142.R.II.C.62. on the frame,the 62 is smaller in size.

  A lot of Regimentals are very difficult to decipher, as the markings were put on by the individual unit armoriers, and lacked uniformity.
  
  My WAG on the markings on your Luger are.
  
  "142.R" = 142nd Infantry Regiment.
  
  "II.C." = 2nd Company.
  
  "62." = Pistol number 62.
