Flares and flair gun sleeves----

where can I buy 21/10ga flares for my signal pistol??? Anyone know? Thanks. So are 10ga size kind of obsolete?

    havent been made in years.might have to have made a 10g to 12ga sleeve...if ya have the old remington brass model they are weak

    My pistol is a Sedgley Mark 5. Do they make the 10g to 12g sleeve, where would I get one, and is my model flare gun strong enough to use it? Thanks.

    The 12 g FLARE shell has very little pressure, and a sleeved 10 g should do fine. Put a 12 g SHOTSHELL in one, and PLEASE get your affairs in order, stand away from innocent bystanders, etc.

    I would seriously consider what you are doing prior to either obtaining, or trying to fabricate these chamber inserts/sleeves. Folks have used these in the past for firing conventional shotgun shells in flare pistols. If you are ever stopped or questioned regarding your flare pistol, make dam sure all you have in your possession are 12 gauge flares, not 12 gauge shells with shot.

    So I take it that these sleeves are not a factory made???? I would never try to fabricate my own, I'm just not balsy enough when it comes to guns. I leave that for the experts.[^]Any one know for fact on these?

    I just bought a 37mm to 26.5mm adapter sleeve from spikes tactical they also have other sizes available. I know they also make a 26.5 to 12 gauge. They may be able to make a custom sleeve for you. Try ammunition to go, they sell a lot of different flares and their prices are pretty reasonable. Good luck
