mormon avenger?

this months guns and ammo had a reference to a revolver known as a "mormon avenger". evidently it is a revolver that has the barrel taken off or something to that effect. anyone have one or even heard of it before. evidently bringham youngs bodyguard had one. just thought it was interesting and i wanted to see one but i couldnt find one looking on the 'net so i thought i would ask you guys.

  GOOGLE, is your friend. "mormon avenger", bunch of stuff shows up. Even a photo of what one of the posters thinks Rockwells revolver looked like. It's apparently a modern replica that has had the barrel and loading lever cut off. Colt actually made a very similar revolver during the Civil War with a short barrel, with out a loading lever. I believe they called it the 1862 Police Model.
