I was wondering if there is a difference between a glock 22 chambered in a 40 SW and a Glock 22 chambered in a 40 Cal.?
I have seen them advertised both ways.

  What is a Glock model 22, with 3, 10 round and 3, high capactiy mags worth. The gun has about 1000 round through it. It also has night sights. Thanks

  Same caliber, many people use the different names for the same caliber.

  Same thing.
  
  The "formal" name for the cartridge is ".40 SW", but most people just call it "40" for short, since there is really no other cartridge that goes by a similar name.
