Mosberg 12 guage
I have an older Mosberg 12guage bolt action with a 3 shot clip. I was wanting to sell it or trade it on a revolver but I have no idea on its value. I don't want to rip someone off ina trade or get riped of myself. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A gun shop would not be a place to sell it as they will probably give you no more than $50 towards a revolver. You would be better off selling it on gunbroker or to a friend who wants a bolt action shotgun(usually a goose or duck hunter). $150 is about max and that is if the gun is in great condition. 0 -

Agree with previous posts. The Mossberg bolt guns were well made, but utility grade shooters. Last week I bought an excellent condition Mdl 185D-A, a 20 g. made in 1950, and paid $90 for it. Being old does not always mean being valuable. 0 -
I have seen them go for as much as 175, but they are not all that sought after other than for a basic utility farm gun. 0 -
I have a Marlin Goose Gun and I wouldn't give more than about 75.00 for a bolt shot gun unless it was in excellent condition but I have seen them go at auctions especially antique and estate auctions close to three hundred. It all depends on who is bidding. 0 -
