Sten MK 2 - MK 3 Receiver tube differences

Hello All,

Is there any difference between the Mark 2 and 3 receiver tube?

  Yes there is. The Mk3 is full length, containing everything but about an inch of barrel. The Mk2's is about half the length and ends at the rear barrel trunnion. The reason for this is because the Mk2 had a threaded rear trunnion to accept either a standard barrel or a silenced barrel.
