Hicks #1 Accurizer
I really like the Ruger No. 1, have had 4 or 5 of them, none of them shot better than 2-3" moa. I now have a NEW, 7 STW (rechamber of a 7 Rem.) in the Stnls., lam. It is shooting about the same from the bench, as all the rest. I'm about to install the Hicks Accurizer to see if it helps. Are there tricks to the instalation process. Have you done them before. What was the outcome, from the accuracy perspective. It currently wears a VX-III 4.5 to 14. The last time to the range I also had my .270 WBY. Mark V, it shoots .75 moa. I don't think its me. Constructive comments only please.

I had the same results out of my #1, but didn't have the problem any more after free floating the barrel. Are your shots stringing, or look more like a shotgun?
I guess most of the Weatherby Mark V rifles in 270 WBY are accurate. I have heard that from several people, and mine will do .6-.7 inch groups without any problem.0 -
Hi haroldchrismeyer----I can't recal what the earlier ones were doing, but this one just seems to be all over the paper like all of my previons ones. The frustrating part is that I know quite a few people who say they're the most accurate guns in their safe 0
