Browning parts for .22 question

Does anyone know if the parts from a Belgian and Miroku take down model Browning .22 self loading rifle are interchangable? Or where a Miroku replacement barrel could be found? The barrel was run over by a truck but the wooden forearm was salvaged. It's not my gun and I didn't run over it!

  There are minor variations in the barrels made in both Belgium & Japan. Only Miroku barrels are available from Browning, & they may or may not have the same barrel adjustment system as the rifle in question.
  
  If it were my rifle, I'd just ship it to Browning factory service (NOT a Browning authorized service center) with a note reading "Does not work" & see what they offer to do.

  Maybe you could back up over it again and straighten it up[:D][:D][:D]. I would definitly send it to browning to fix it. They are great and have fixed a couple of guns for me. Oak
