9.3-72 Norm
Hi all,
I am looking over a gun that belongs to a friend of mine. It is a drilling. 16x16x9.3-72 Norm. Anybody have a clue what the 9.3-72 Norm is. Could it be short for Norma? Looking at the extractor groove, it clearly is a rimmed cartridge barrel. Please advise.

Probably stands for "normalisiert" = Normal. The gun chambered for the standard cartridge and loading of 9.3x72. It is an old round, predating Norma as an independent company. S&B makes the ammo, but it is expensive. 0 -
