Would a model 64 pistol grip stock fit a pre war model 1894 pistol grip rifle? Trying to replace a broken one.

  You would also need a lever for a pistol grip stock.

  As I said the model 1894 was originally made for a pistol grip stock it has a pistol grip frame and lever, old stock is un-repairable...question is will a model 64 pistol grip rifle stock fit a model 1894 pistol grip rifle....are the stocks the same?I ask because it seems impossible to find an original 1894 pg stock..but I have seen model 64 stocks.I also have seen reproductions but they appear to be a lot of work for proper fit.

  I typed in winchester 1894 pistil grip stock and found one under bobs gun shop. Its about number 5 or 6 down on the list. Hope this helps you. Alot others came up to

  If you find an early pre-war production Model 64 stock, then maybe it will fit. I believe that the curvature of the Model 64 pistol grip is bit more severe.
  
  If it is a WW II era or later Model 64 stock, it will definitely not fit.

  Ok...I appreciate everybody's help and expertise..the gun I am looking to fit stock dates 1898,if anybody does come by one by some slim chance please let me know..does not have to be fancy repairable ok..just looking to make shooter...with out the work of reproduction stock.
