Stevens double barrel

Hello,
I have a stevens double barrel 12ga. On the left side of the reciever it says "STEVENS", with a bird engraving. The pistol grip cap says "SVG". There is no date code on the bottom where they usually are. Does anybody know roughly when this gun would have been made?
