Need info on Crimson Laser Grips for Glock

I'm considering picking up some Crimson Laser Grips here on Gunbroker for my Glock 23, but am uncertain of their reliability/usefulness in true low-light home self-defense situations.

The only information I have been able to find is the standard product description that comes from the manufacturer. Any thoughts on how these truly affect accuracy, and their ease of use?

Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

    Not sure this will help much, but I have the Crimson Trace on my Beretta, and it works great for low light situations. For my Glocks, I used the Lasermax guide rod laser, and that works just as well. Either should be a good choice.

    I'm using the "edit" feature so it doesn't take up another response, since topics here are usually locked after 10, so I hope you see this.

    Nope, not a Chiroprattor. The DC is my initials, and the rest is for Fairfax, Va. which is where I was living when I made the screen name. I'm still in Northern Virginia, just not Fairfax anymore.

    I'll check into the Lasermax as well. By the way, I noticed your user id...are you a Chiropractor in Fairfax by chance? Or is the DC for the city?

    I love crimson trace for my glock 19. Especially for home defense. Go to crimsontrace.com and request free dvd of it in action. Also a good quality flashlight is a must with any home defense plan
