Id a gun please

This gun in the local classifieds is identified only as a "Olympic.22 cal auto pistol" anyone know what it is? Thanks

    It is most probably a Norinco TT-Olympia as sold here by Navy Arms in the middle 1990s. It is a Communist Chinese copy of the Walther Olympia. The last retail price was $290, and it should be considered as a second hand discontinued model with no warranty or support.

    If it happened to be a REAL Walther Olympia Sport Model as made 1936-1940, it would be worth a LOT more.

    Believe H.C. is correct, owned one years ago. The light colored grips, and barrel weight are dead on. The price is off though, payed $150 for mine. Doubt that they actually ever sold at the full MSRP, that he quoted. After Slick Willie got the Chinese to stop selling their guns in the U.S., they dried up. It was a descent quality pistol and shot well. If you can pick it up at a fair price, and it's functional with both magazines, it would be a good deal.

    One showed up at a local gun show recently, the turkey who was selling it, tried to make folks believe that it was a original pre was war German made Walther. He had it priced accordingly. When I told him that it was Chinese copy made in the 90's, he just gave me a dirty look, didn't phase him a bit.

    Thanks guys, I did a search for "Norinco TT-Olympia" and I'm sure that is it. The guy doesn't want too much for it so I might pick it up.

    i had one also. functioned perfect ith everthing i tryed in it and also was pretty accurate not a 41 or high standard but still reliable and easonably accurate. i paid $140 for mine back then as well but someone at the range saw me shooting it and wanted it worse then i did. they offered me $300 so it went down the road. the guy still comes with it and shoots bullseye and he does pretty good. he mounted a red dot by putting a brige around the weight and that helped balance it out. finding other magazines may be an issue so make sure it has both.
