Matte stainless Remington 700 Bolt Shroud
I recently bought a stainless long action firing pin assembly from Numrich to rid my .300 Ultra Sendero of the I.S.S. functions. It was the correct matte stainless shroud and looks and fits perfectly.
They did not have the one for a short action .220 Swift VSSF so I ordered a Remington factory one from Brownells (I didn't like the aluminium replacements). It is the non-I.S.S. one like I wanted but it is a stainless high gloss model which I think is probably a closer match to the new VSSF II models. Does anyone know where I can buy just the shroud that is in the stainless matte finish? Or, a place I can maybe send it to have it bead blasted or something to be a better match? I thought about steel wool but I don't think that would look right.

sand blast it. My Peircision units are also more shiny that the fatory dull finish 0
