41 colt

i was looking for some 41 colt(long or short) ammo on the auction side and all there is is old collectible boxes, is there such a thing as somewhat newer affordable ammo for shooting? or is it a reload only type deal.

  I have a friend who just bought a 41 Colt. It is not a 41 Magnum it is just a 41, an old one. Do they make bullets for this pistol and if so where can they be found at? Also is the 41 Colt a rimfire?

  Wow, I am not the only one who still shoots a 41 Long Colt. I did purchase some of the Ultramax ammunition to shoot in my 1897 vintage Colt SAA. It shoots well, and I am pleased. You might also find some of the original stuff at old Western Scrounger. Be careful with the original stuff to clean your gun after use as it is corrosively primed.
