I just got back from Southern CA. I had a great time visited my dad and shot about 1000 rounds together, good time had by all!!! While there I received a Sigma Series Smith and Wesson .380. It's a little small for my hand I was wondering if there was a grip extension that will fit this pistol. The Magazine is different than I've used before. It is released by pushing on both sides of the bottom of the mag. I've never used an extension so I was wondering if one existed for these magazines. Thanks--mark

PS I'm not worried about more round capacity, I just want something to rest my pinky on.

    What's a good price for a SW380, used, no box, with two mags? Are they a reliable self defence gun?

    Best thing to do would be to see if you can find any that have sold recently on the two big net gun auctions, to get a ball park on yours.

    They weren't popular guns when S & W, brought them out. Didn't have a good reputation for durability. I doubt that they were in production for a long time. Not likely to be either a hot seller, or be a big buck item. Price it accordingly.

    The SW380 was not one of Smith's better designs. It is a delayed blow-back, and therefore has fairly heavy recoil. I have never owned one, but their reputation is not one of great durability. Check the auction sites for recent sale prices.

    As an alternative, a Kel-Tec P3AT is a locked-breech and is smaller and lighter, all with a proven track record.
