Ruger new model 44
was looking at a ruger new model super blackhawk in .44 magnum. The serial number puts it about 1974. Is this a three screw, and how do i know? Its a 7 1/2 inch barrel, about 95%. Can someone give me an approximate value? thanks

three screw would have "three screws on the frame. New model would have two pins and the words "new model" 0 -
all 3 screws ended in 1972 , look at the left side of the frame it will say New Model Super Blackhawk , also 3 screws have 3 screws thru the frame with the screw heads on the right side of the right, New Models have 2 pins thru the frame , looks just like this one 
value for a 7 1/2" $300 to $375 , depends alot on your area , some guns just do better in different locals0 -

He also has a box of speer 25 caliber .251 diameter bullets. I don't find that diamenter in my book. Anyone know what it fits? thanks very much0 -

i checked the close auctions , looks like most are going in the $350 to 375 range , i always ask the seller what they want for it first , its their gun let them put a value to it and see if it fits what you are willing to pay , then go from there
