Cobra Finish

I just got a Colt Cobra with I believe a nickel finish.
The finish looks ( cloudy ) dull. Can anything be done to bring back the beauty ?

  Polish the nickel with metal polish.

  Flitz works.
  
  I've used a product called "Metalglo" for this exact purpose (polishing nickel guns) and it also works very well.
