S&W model 35-1 6" flat latch .22LR

Does anyone have an idea as to a price range for these? Looking at one at a local pawn shop. Loads of holster wear but seems to function fine,asking $499. I have not seen any on GB,even completed auctions, they seem to have vanished. Ditto the 34's and early 63's though not as bad. Thanks

    35's have always been really uncommon, as compared to 34's. It seems to be about top dollar though, for a revolver with a lot of finish wear. Unless your a S & W collector and just have to have it for your collection, i.e. to send it back to S & W for restoration, I would pass.

    Thanks for the input, I have a very nice 35 and have always wanted a shooter. Quality .22's are vanishing in my area,Seattle It's the Canadians. They own cabins and vacation homes in the U.S. close to the border they can backpack the Cascades with a side arm and bang way all they like as well. They just keep their pieces in the U.S.Can't do the same in B.C. Not ANY 35's to look at at ANY price around here.

    I collect Smiths and have 2 model 34s and a 63. I bid on a model 35 at an auction about 2 years ago. I quit bidding at $900 and let it go. Have not seen one since.

    At $499, I would pick that one up in a second. The model 35s were made in the same serial number range as the 34s but were only made for 20 years, so they are very hard to find.
