proper finnish for a laminate stock

I have an unfinnished sporter stock and I am looking for a finnish for it. I was thinking tung oil? What else? Do not want the cheap varnish look.

  I recommended using tung oil as long as you or your family doesn't have an allergy to nuts. Read my post and if you have other questions, ask away.
