Can I add a collapsible stock to a ban era colt AR

Bought a ban era colt ar15 m4 match target with a pinned collapsible stock. Can I add a collapsible stock to this rifle legally?

  As long as you are not in a state that still has a state version of the AWB. By Federal standards you are legal to do it.

  As long as you dont have a state or local ban on assault rifles, you can now add anything you want.
