Marlin XL7 bolt action rifle

Anyone had any experience with these rifles? They are priced rather cheap and I wondered if the price was indictative of the quality/accuracy.

  Its no frills, and a combo of the Remy 700 and Savage in construction. They seem to be pretty accurate.
  
  They would make a good hunting rifle for the man on a budget.

  I have one it is very accurate with a great trigger I use it when the weather is really nasty. good rifle for the money it shoots just as well as several of mine the cost twice as much

  Try marlinowners.com/forums . They have a forum for XL7 rifle owners. So far they sound like a decent hunting rifle.

  Have handled, but not yet shot, half a dozen or so. Very impressed.
  Plan to get one as a "foul weather gun" but even when the sun shines I suspect it may be getting more use than some of my Sako's and Winchesters. An excellent deal for the $$, IMHO. Miles ahead of the Rem. 710, for what it's worth.
