Help ID a Military Gunstock?

I have a 42.5" long gunstock with no markings. Can anyone recognize or ID it?

    Looks like a 1903 Springfield. I'm NO rifle expert, so I hope one of these guys will help!

    It looks like a 98 K stock to me. Or it might be the long barrel model that the Germans made right after the First World War, it had a turned down bolt handle. I believe they called it the 98 B.

    As far as I know, the 98 K's, didn't have stocks with grasping grooves. That was a characteristic of earlier German military rifles that date to the late First World War era, i.e. 98 AZ's, 98 A's, etc. It does appear also that the front of the stock behind the front band is relieved for a "stacking hook", that was a standard feature of these rifles.

    Now that's interesting. It's definitely a Mauser of some sort. But what makes it interesting is that it appears to be a full length rifle stock with a cutout for a turned down bolt, and with an interesting sling attachment system. It also does appear to have a cut out for a front stacking bar.

    I'd have to agree, 98b. Rare bird. Someone would surely pay you a pretty penny for that to restore a sporter.

    ITCDOTY is almost right.

    Copy of the WW I 98AZ German, for the Polish Carbine version.

    The sling bar on left the side makes it the Polish version.
