Win. 70 stocks

As far as the inletting, and the barrel bulge is concerened, is there any difference between the pre, and post 64 mod. 70'S ? How significant as far as difficulty, is the diff.? Also, is anyone sure of the LPI on the checkering on pre 64? It looks like 20 LPI. THX Hawkshaw
