MOSSBERG 930/935 HELP

MFI
have a 935 gun and would like to know if the 930 barrels will fit it .. What I need is a 24" Turkey barrel in matte.. Mossberg makes one for the 930 but not the 935 ...

    Your best bet is to call up mossberg and ask. I think the 935 is just the 3.5 inch chamber. If they are indeed interchangeable than no more shooting 3.5 shells.

    I am pretty sure the 500 and 535 are interchangeable. I would venture a guess that 930 and 935 are too, but it isnt worth you having some kind of accident over my speculation. Sorry wish I could help more.

    930 are striaght bored .725 935 are backbored .740 larger bore larger barrel it is what it is

    The barrels for the 500 and 535 are NOT interchangeable. Same goes for the 930 and 935 - the x35 models have heavier barrel walls to accomodate the 3.5" chambering. See goosesmasher's posting.

    Thanks, thats what I thought. Bought gun thinking it was the same as 930 didn't realize it was chamberd for 3 - 3.5" so far it has worked great for dove and skeet. quote:Originally posted by 32 Magnum

    I've been using my 535 w/x-full choke tube for trap shooting. I love beating the guys with the $1000+ guns, although I lose just as many as I win...
