Leupold LR/T vs ER/T

What is the difference between the LR/T and ER/T line? Besides the $400 difference in price. They both appear to have the same specs.
Are they suitable for .50BMG?

  For the price tag of the ER/T, you would be better off going with the NightForce NXS. Whole lot better scope.

  IMHO, no it's not worth the extra $400 for the ER/T. I agree with tsr1965 ... and if you can spare a tad more get one with zero stop.
