Chinese Norinco Mak-90

I am still looking for a bolt for a Norinco Mak-90 Ak-47 5.56X45 in .223 caliber and can't seem to locate one. My question is, can a bolt from a chinese 7.62X39 be remachined to fit the .223, I borrowed a bolt from a friend who has a 7.62X39 and it fit fine, but the firing pin wasn't spring loaded like mine and the bolt carrier only went back as far as the clip then stopped.
