Colt 32-20 Police Positive Special SA / DA worth??

Buddy was given this gun from the auctions looks like maybe $400. Can anyone tell me what is worth?

The photo gives the appearance of little original finish remaining, it appears heavily patinaed. Jay Scott aftermarket grips. The finish on the cylinder doesn't match that on the frame and barrel. Hopefully who ever replaced the cylinder knew what they were doing and it's in time and locks up tight. IMHO it appears to be at the most a $200 beater, something to carry in the glove compartment, or to lend to the BIL.
