Savage 110 barrel replacement

Will i have to do any work to my stock when i change my barrel from 30-06 to 35 whelan (Adams & Bennet Barrel from Midway) ?????

  if it is the same contour, very little if any.

  I think the Whelan barrel is the magnum contour. I don't know how much thicker it is compared to the standard.
