Remington 591M - 592M Parts

I have an extractor for Remington either 591M or 592M but have had questions that there were a first model or second model. I can not find any information on this. Is there a serial number break down for these or a quick way to tell them apart? Mine is 3/16 wide and 1 7/8 inches long. Have a photo but can not figure out how to insert it here. It was listed on the Auction section #125420923 and has been sold but have a couple more. Can an EXPERT help a novice? Email me and I can email you a photo. lealemley@iowatelecom.net

  Ditto, they are the same. And as for inserting it, you need to take the plate off the side to insert it.
