Can anyone give me some info on a Arminius 38 special revolver. I cannot find anything about it. My book notes that it was previously manufactured in Zella-Mehlis Germany from 1922-1970. This one has a ribbed barrel.

Made in 1976, but we need a model number. The model number is on the frame of the gun under the crane.
If it says Model 36-1, then it is a J-frame 5 shot S&W steel frame revolver also called the "Chief's Special". They sell for $250 - $350 depending on the condition of the gun.0
