Whats better leupold or burris?

Not sure where to post this but im looking to replace an old scope on a browning bar 30-06. In the price point of a burris fullfield 2 or leupold vx-I. Which one is better for the price? Why? Any insight is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Both are fine scopes and two of my favorites and either will serve you well. Leupold scopes are generally a little lighter in weight then most scopes and if overall weight is a concern then this may influance you. Recently I have been buying more Burris then Leupold because I like the fast focus feature as well as their balistic plex. Both companies stand behind their products with no question asked, no paper work asked and in Burris's case they didn't ever ask for return shipping the one time I had to send a scope back to them. Both companies make better scopes/optics then those and may be a better long term purchase. The better grade scopes really shine when you are viewing small targets at distance or confusing background or poor lighting or even just have good young eyes and good eyesight.

    I personally prefer leupold. Even their lower end scopes are excellent quality. The only better would be swarovski, Schmidt & Bender, or Zeiss. IHMO

    I prefer Burris, but in either case I would save my nickels a little longer and go for the Burris Signature Select, or the Vari-X III if you decide you prefer Leupold. Mount your choice in Burris Signature rings.

    Burris is my choice between thr two. I do own a couple of leupolds, but when getting ready to trade/sell, I will usually swap a burris to a leupold on the trade gun, so as to not have to replace the burris.

    At least Burris don't have a reticule problem, or tracking issues...

    Burris is by far the better bang for the buck. Their Fulfield II is comparable to the VX-II Leupold. Their Signature series, way out does the VX-III. Leupold is a good scope, but you tend to pay a lot more for what you are getting.

    Look at both and you pick, it's a coin toss when you ask other people. They are both good products and it all depends on your eyes. PS I noticed alot of votes for Burris, but it's been my experice that Leupold has a better resale value. Just a side note
