.380, 9mm Kruz

I'm looking for a carry pistol and found one here but confused. I wanted a .380 and this says .380 also 9mm Kruz. What does that mean?

  9mm Kurtz is the German designation for the .380 cartridge. It's commonly found marked on pistols made in Europe. The pistol your interested in, will work with any .380 ammo thats available in the States.

  The correct spelling is "Kurz" and it's German for "short". A .380 caliber is 9mm short.

  .380 ACP = 9mm kurz (short).
  
  Same thing.
  
  One is the American name; one is the European name.
  
  You'll often see the European name on European designed guns (eg Sigs, Walther, etc).
  
  Note that the 9mm kurz is NOT the same thing as the 9mm luger (aka parabellum, etc), which is the round most Americans refer to when they say "9mm" without any other specification.

  Also 9 MM Corto if it's Italian.
