if i was to walk in a store today, what would i expect to pay for this stuff? how crazy has the panic buying gotten? thanks.

  I know that the last time I bought a box to go Goose hunting, it was outrageous!
  
  I want to say around $25 for a box locally, but I can't remember for sure on that price.

  I don't hunt with anyone. Too many non safely handling firearms idiots. If I were in the blind and one of my hunting buddies ran out of ammo, they can use some and replentish it next hunt.

  No deal. Ammo ain't getting any cheaper.[:o)] Wait till hunting season comes around and see what price hike it takes. Bought 16 or so cases, of 12 1.1/4 of 8's to bird hunt with. Usually somewhere around $13-14 box before ammo went up in price... Got them for under 60 bucks a case. Should last me awhile.

  ok...so i see from 18 to 25 depending on location.
  i know a goose hunter in ny state. next time he visits down here, i'll give them to him. he shoots 3" over water. i'll make him buy me breakfast AND LUNCH![:D] thanks guys.
