Need a license to make bullets?

Gentlemen and Ladies, is a Federal License needed to manufacture and sell bullets? NOT completed ammunition, just the projectiles.

  You better start cranking them out as quick as you can, with prez nobama calling the shots, ( no pun intended ). We're going to need a license for everything having to do with firearms, pretty soon.

  Not now, wait until the change comes to your area, though.
  
  When it takes a license to make ammunition, I guess I will have to go back to muzzle loading.

  If by license you mean FFL, no. A bullet is simply a chunk of metal. Now, you would need business license. etc, same as any business. And if generating measurable quantities of hazardous waste, the EPA may want to talk to you about a HAZWASTE Generator permit, etc.
