    The older Harrington & Richardson revolvers aren't worth a lot, even in excellent condition. They were made in quantity and sold as inexpensive, personal protection handguns.

    Unless they were made prior to 1898, they are not legally considered antiques.

    Without quality photos it would be quite difficult to help you with any sort of valuation. Many of them show up on the two large internet gun auctions. Your best bet to get a ball-park value for yours, is to check the actual selling prices for similar ones on the auctions. Due to the economy being in the toilet, it's very unlikely that they would have much value to folks nowadays.

    Describing a gun as a "S&W CTGE" is like describing a car that you are interested in buying as a "Use unleaded fuel only". In other words, that really doesn't tell us much about what you are looking at.

    I suspect that the seller is describing the Harrington & Richardson, Inc American Double Action model, but there are a lot of variations that could affect the value. And, there's the question of condition, which neither you nor the seller are able to describe.

    I'll second fordsix's suggestion of $70 each; you can't lose money. I'm still confused as to why you would want to buy any gun when you don't know what it is.

    Post the pics and we'll help out with valuation - without pics, as previously stated - value is around $70 (generous) - with pics and proper ID, they could be worth as much as $300 depending upon model, configuration and condition.
