Rolling Block Harpoon Gun

Does anyone know who made a shoulder fired harpoon gun that was made with a rolling block action and shot 38 special blanks to fire the dart.[?]

  I just purchased a rolling block action harpoon gun, It does not have a name on it ,it shoots blanks that the Greener Martini action harpoon gun shot,on one side of the reciever you can make out barely perhaps a cresent moon emblem.Does anyone out there know anything about this gun.I wander if it was a early Greener perhaps made before the Jaws type was made, it shoots the same style dart that slips over the barrel,and it is nickel plated.You can see pics of it on the West Sea co. web page under the Whaling portion of thier catalog.

  A .38 special blank wouldn't launch much of a projectile, especially a harpoon. Sounds more like a tranq dart rifle.
