Whats it worth?

i have a model 27 s/w 357 6" configuration in the presentation case with all tools, appx. 90% or better, however it also has a companion cylinder for 357/44 bain and davis. I have also acquired all the dies, brass, reloading manuals,etc for the 357/44 cartridge. i know what i have spent, but whats it worth or is beauty in the eye of the beholder.

    Model B Fox...In the Condition it appears from your Photos..In My considered Opinion is Worth $225.00 to $250.00...

    Cheer up!! Check the shotguns for sale. > .410 double is sought after. Especially the Fox Model B (It's really a Stevens 311 with nice walnut ) $700 plus to the right guy - I kid you not.....

    There are 2 of these on GB at $1250-1500 right now. It's a Stevens/ Fox model B and it looks to be in exellent condition. While it's not the highest quality American double,it is rugged and there wasn't anything made in it's price range when it was discontinued in 1986 @ $369.00. Being a .410 is a big plus. The estimates of $200-300 are just plain silly. People would be breaking your door down at $600-750 in my area,Seattle,possibly much more. While $1250.seems steep and it's not sold yet,remember it's an American made .410,vent rib double. What else are you going to look at that's similar? For $200-300? or even $600-750? Forget it!

    I agree with Old hickory. I see them priced $800 and up, with them selling in the $700 and up range.

    Thanks for the info. Obviously I posted it already for sale, I put a reserve on it because I wasn't sure what it is worth. I have another gun that means more to me that was also my grandfathers, I know this gun was at least 30 years old because he died the year I was born and it hasn't been shot since. If it is worth under $500 I will definitely keep it. If it goes higher, who knows... Thanks for all your input so far. Ve

    Ill give you ten bucks for it right now!!!![:D]Hang it on your wall and have some fond memories of your grandfather. No money is worth any thing for the guns my dad gave me.I will pass them on to my son and hopefully he will keep them in the family. Anyway, whatever you decide, Good luck and god bless.     I can't believe I missed this post!!! I just posted about the same gun earlier tonight.Mine is in the same condition except it apparently has a couple add-ons.

    Oh well good luck on your auction.
