Taurus Judge and +P ammo

Gentlemen, Is there any problem or issue with using +P 45 L/C ammo
in the Taurus Judge revolvers? Anyone have any experience or
suggestions on what they have found to shoot best in the Judge?[:)]

    The Judge I had, chamber mouths were way oversized, nothing was very accurate. I would try a assortment of different cartridges to see if yours was held to closer tolerances then mine was. I finally bought some Remington 455 diameter swagged lead flat nose's, and started rolling my own. Although they weren't that much more accurate then the store bought ammo, they were a lot cheaper to shoot.

    Hopefully Taurus has improved their QC on the Judges, mine was a early production one that already had two previous owners.

    When they say the rifling is "finely tuned" what that means is that its barely existent. . .the gun has deliberately shallow rifling.

    Anyway, I'd imagine this gun is probably fine with +P ammo, even if it isn't rated as such. Certainly worth a call to Taurus if you're concerned about that.
