winchester 1873
I have found a 1873 22short, however, it
can be converted to shoot longs with the
movement of a bullet stop located on the side
of the block.
The gun operates well, the finish is better
than 50% and the wood is ok.
Is this gun really rare? What is it worth?

I have the drawing and dimensions but all my references are packed for the big move. You might contact Winchester Bob at www.winchesterbob.com and Holloway Machine Shop at www.hmsgunparts.com. Both of these guys specialize in making new parts for old lever actions. Holloway might even have the part you need in stock. 0
